Apple has DONE it again! The Apple 3D mapping system that is coming to the IOS 6 operating system, is simply beautiful. Apple is also packing a turn-By-Turn navigation system, that will put your TomTom to ShameShame! Apple didn’t just give us less, but you will be getting a lot more with the next up coming IOS 6 update. Everything in 3D, including turn-by-turn and Obstacle navigation!

Roads in your map application will be completely redone to feature real-time incidents in certain colors. For example, a red dotted line will point out certain road hazards or alerts! This will be a very hand feature while you are navigating your way through the maps as you drive with your steering wheel in one hand and your iPhone in the other hand!

Apple Turn By Turn Navigation also is an amazing upgrade to the iPhone map system. Not only is it completely 3D, but it has turn-by-turn navigation as sen above. This isn’t just convent, but its also beautiful! Apple decided top hand us some more handy features like “re-route” feature. If the iPhone, finds a faster route, it will tell you.

Personally the 3D maps are a nice edition, but Personally I am so used to the sky view of maps, and the 2D maps, that this will be “COOL” but at first it won’t be as easy to use. Maybe we won’t use the 3D iPhone map feature, but either way its a beautiful idea, and will be fun to use if Apple makes it easy.
