It ends up that Apple is not just smart, but Apple is VERY smart with the design of every element of the iPhone.  You have probably wondered why the iPhone and the successions of iPhone 2G – 3G – 3GS – 4 – 4S never had a larger screen?  Well Apple is smart, and has done this for a very good purpose.  Dustin Curtis just bought the new competitors Galaxy S II, and noticed something that We have overlooked for so long!

When you first see a phone with a 4-inch or larger screen, it seems like a much better experience. I thought it was a technical decision, and it could be, but since switching to an Android phone — a Samsung Galaxy S II, the “best Android phone you can buy, anywhere” — 15 days ago, I have realized another huge downside of larger screens: when holding the phone with one hand, I can’t reach the other side of the screen with my thumb.

When Dustin was using his new shinny Galxy S II, he noticed that the screen was nice, but it was hard to use certain parts of the screen.  It ends up that Apple has designed the iPhone with a 3.5 inch screen because the average persons finger fits the perfect size.  The apex of our finger movement was a factor that has formed the screen size of the iPhone, and will continue to be the same for as long as we know.

You can see that the iPhone was designed for your optimum comfort while texting with one hand.  This was not just a coincidence, but a inside job with apple for your continued loyalty to apple and it’s iPhone.

If you have a Android, they are good too, but depending on your hand size, you may want choose the iPhone.
